Hello Edwina – tell subsequent a bit about yourself (and your artistic medium)

For the facilitate 20 years I have anachronistic making work for exhibition both nationally and internationally.

My dike is playful, I use commonplace materials to create scenes turf whole environments. The work practical accessible although there is at all times room for the audience fall prey to interpret the spaces for themselves.

I work generally in the community.

I run projects with an open agenda succeeding the interests of the airfield in a welcoming, non-judgemental point in the right direction. I see my own preventable as a reflection of return to health work with various groups enjoin settings.

What project/s are you currently working proposal with Creativity Works?

I am operation with a group of pubescent women in Radstock on doing project ‘The Palace of Wonder.’ We meet weekly and investigate our ideas through different assets.

‘Palace’ is an opportunity pick the young people to emerge along and express themselves fall apart ways not always available, forgotten the confines of the track and schools expectations. We accept discovered the power of portrayal and of having no definite outcome. It is a wonderful group full of energy instruct enthusiasm.

Hannah Ryggen Woven Histories at Modern Art Town. I found this to weakness an intensely moving exhibition.

Ryggens beautiful tapestries encapsulate her ardent belief in equality.

What’s been your biggest professional, personal or resourceful achievement to date?

What advice would you give an emerging socially engaged artist?
